
What it is: BPN Whey Protein Powder
I usually have a hard time digesting dairy, so I was a little hesitant to try whey protein again. However, BPN sources from quality suppliers to get the best ingredients, AND tests for banned substances. That gave me confidence that this one would be different, and it is!
Why I use it: Eating a sufficient amount of dietary protein helps with recovery and muscle protein synthesis which are necessary to build lean muscle. If I’m training and building muscle like an athlete, then I want to be fueling like one too!
When I eat it: Usually with breakfast because I love something sweet in the morning. I’ll make apple pie protein oats “proats” and top it with apple slices! If I blend it in a smoothie, I love adding in some peanut butter, almond milk, and ice.
How to make it: I mix 1 scoop in 6-8 oz. of cold water or almond milk, then mix in my oats, and top it with apples and sometimes peanut butter too (so good). Protein powder is super versatile though, you can mix it into shakes or create your own protein bites, there’s a lot of possibilities!
Who can benefit from it: You don’t have to be an athlete or bodybuilder to use protein powder. Anyone who enjoys sweet treats while trying to increase their protein consumption should give this a shot.
